| Brightmoor-area Youth presents Live Performance |

Just a few short months ago, the Youth Under Construction program started work in Detroit’s Brightmoor community. The program combines the performing arts with character education and has proven to shift student’s attitudes towards respect for others while building their self-confidence.
On Friday, May 4th, youth of various ages and talent levels presented a live demonstration of their skills as adapted to our award-winning, clean-lyric positive music program. A large number of residents from the community came together to celebrate this evening with us. We were also honored by the fact that Mr. Robert Thornton, Programs Officer for the Skillman Foundation, was a part of the introductions.
It has been a blessing to work with these youth who, thanks to the Skillman Foundation, were scholarshipped into the program. Please share information about our program with anyone you believe may be interested- we thank you in advance for that and truly hope you can join us at a future event!
