ABOUT US: Pages to Stages (P2S) is a 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization created in 2008 to offer solutions to issues facing today's youth and family. Through innovative programs that combine technology with practical resources, P2S will promote these to communities that encompass at-risk youth and families and will pursue funding for same. The programs include, and are not limited to:

Featuring cutting-edge multi-media edu-tainment, dynamic presenters plus Metro Detroit’s top family-oriented agencies collaborating to provide resources, opportunities and to promote positive-attitude changes in Metro Detroit youth
GOALS:
- To present a positive entertainment alternative that has successfully demonstrated a positive shift in youth’s attitudes
- To promote literacy and academic achievement
- To introduce students to resources, upcoming events and opportunities
- To create a dynamic team of youth leader-performers reflecting a positive image of the City of Detroit
- To develop and promote an interactive and resourceful website that promotes a sense of positive community to the youth of Metro Detroit
- To encourage involvement in a youth-driven AriseDetroit! Neighborhoods Day, August 2009 and other various volunteer opportunities
- (OPTIONAL) To create a video documentary of the entire program-project for broadcast and future promotion of similar efforts
Benefits to students, school and community:
- MEAP-score-raising motivation for students and participating schools
- live music presentations with songs that promote: making positive choices, respect for one another, media awareness, literacy, academic success, and more
- high quality videos to promote positive options and resources incorporated within the live presentation
- select students would apply for a “Leadership Package” that would include the MDYUC CD and other materials that promote high level communication skills, educating the youth about how to become leaders in their communities
High School Level:
- scholarship information
- employment/ internship/ volunteer opportunities
Middle and Elementary Schools level:
- arts/ other after-school programs promotions
- book/ reading club promotions
NOTE: no political or faith-based causes will be promoted in this effort
